NEWS AND UPDATES

25/05/2020

Hi all,
To everyone asking about breaking in or working with a horse, I will be resuming work sometime in early June, due to my car being out of commission at this moment in time and all the available mechanics working through their backlog that accumulated during the corona shut down. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and hope to see you and your horse in the near future!

01/11/2018

Hi everyone, just a quick update - I will unfortunately not be available from now until the end of the year. On that note, merry upcoming Christmas to all, and I hope to see both you and your horse(s) in 2019!

29 / 06 / 2018

We're back! Apologies for the delay. Everything should be working as it was - or dare I say, better - than before. I will be updating the website with some new information coming out of the winter season too, so stay tuned!

Just a heads up, equinestart would be switching web-host service on the 7th of June. As such the website will be down between the 7th and the 11th. E-Mails sent between these days should still eventually get to me, but just in case feel free to contact me by text (0210 2578 369) or my alternative E-Mail address: volkier@gmail.com

That time of the year is upon us once again, and as such I would like to wish to all of my clients, horses, affiliates and acquaintances a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year! 2017 has been a fairly interesting year with plenty of good, bad, challenges and excitement, and I wish everyone that 2018 will bring as much or more joy, happiness and opportunities!

So on that note, see you all and your horses in 2018!

Merry Christmas once again!

It's been a busy and eventful year at Panorama, with plenty of upcoming changes planned for the new year. Here's some of the important ones:

- Quarantine and worming policies have been changed. Overall, horses grazing long term at panorama should now have much more limited exposure to short term or visiting grazers. Which is a good thing for the health of all horses. The worming policy has likewise been altered slightly to better manage worm burden from shared paddocks across all horses on the property.

- Due to the politics of Health and Safety (and the new regulations dictated by Worksafe to the primary industry sector), all visitors to the yard are no longer able to drive in (other than to drop off horses in a float, or hay in a trailer), and are required to park in the adjacent parking provided on the left of the main entrance. Everyone must then make a note of their arrival in the sign-in book, and sign out prior to leaving. No 'friends' of grazers are allowed to go into any paddock with any horses (dependants - eg. children - are excluded from this rule) at any time. There would also be a 'health and safety' print out, listing all the hazard and whatnot, which must be read and signed by any new grazer coming onto the yard. I will upload all the relevant documnetation onto this website once I get an electronic copy of everything.

- The back of the farm has been upgraded with some levelled tracks and some new fencing, providing some great new canter stretches - however as always this will not be available year round due to ground conditions and stock rotations.

As always, for any further information don't hesitate to contact either myself or Panorama staff, and naturally, all the above information would be provided to any new grazer coming onto the property, whether for training with myself or grazing at Panorama.

Once again, thank you to all my clients and Panorama staff for a wonderful year, and wishing you all a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2017!

Merry Christmas !

And a Happy New Year! Please note that I will not be taking on any more horses in this year, and will resume in the second week of January 2016. Don't hesitate to send me any inquiries in the meantime, however I am not sure if I will have internet access until then at this point in time, and as such I apologise if I do not get back to you in a speedy fashion.

Once again, Merry Chritmas, Happy New Year, and a big thank you to all my customers and clients for trusting me to work with your horses throughout the year!

Please be advised that Panorama Equestrian has altered their prices for weekly grazing. Instead of paying $35 per week, it is now down to $30. However, hay is no longer provided at no charge and you may either provide your own, or buy hay from Panorama at $10 a bale. This has been noted and updated on the information page, and is subject to change as Panorama Equestrian management deems necessary.

We've been made aware that Google maps seems to have the wrong address for 'Panorama Equestrian Limited'. Google has been notified of this error. In the meantime, if you are using Google maps as your GPS / location search, please note that the correct address is 1496 Longbush Road with the marker located about 1km North-East along the same road, just past the junction with Miller's Road.

If you want the correct marker from Google maps, please use "1464 Longbush" road as your search term. "1496 Longbush Road" is currently inaccurate as well.
